IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC
A Journey to You will continue to provide services to our clients via TELE THERAPY until further notice in order to take the appropriate safety precautions for our clients and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the past two weeks we have had great success using our tele therapy alternatives and will continue to serve you in this manner.
In our efforts to continue to be consistent with your treatment and to provide ongoing and additional support during this difficult time, we have developed the following operational procedures to serve you:
Clients will be able to opt to have their session by way of teletherapy (phone session).
Clients will be able to opt for video/virtual therapy using our online HIPAA compliant platform called Wecounsel. (Should you opt for Wecounsel we will provide you with user friendly instructions)
Clients may choose another platform that they are more familiar/comfortable with such as Zoom (a popular one).
Clients (new or existing) will be given additional support 24/7 by calling our after hours support line. This line will be used for individuals who are needing immediate attention that is not life-threatening. Our after hours trained support staff will provide brief counseling and support while getting you in contact with a therapist who will get you scheduled within 24 hours of your call.
If you have an appointment scheduled in the next two weeks, and have not yet heard from us regarding how you would like your session to be conducted, you will be contacted by our office staff confirming which of the above treatment alternatives you would prefer. If you do not hear from us before your session, please contact us at your earliest convenience.
We are doing our very best to continue to provide you with quality care while increasing services in order to accommodate the continuing needs of our community. We will continue to ensure the safety for all and will make every effort to have little to no disruption in our clients’ treatment.
